Bentley CONNECTION Client

The CONNECTION Client is part of Bentley's collaboration technology that allows users to connect and analyze global projects.

Associating Bentley Raceway and Cable Management project with ProjectWise Project is very simple.

  1. Start Bentley Raceway and Cable Management and select Bentley Raceway and Cable Management project using standard MicroStation project selection method as described above.

    For example:

  2. If the project is being opened for the first time, it needs to be associated with the ProjectWise Project. The Assign Project dialog box will display:
  3. Select the ProjectWise Project you want to associate your Bentley Raceway and Cable Management project with click Assign.

    All files that belong to BRCM_PLANT_US_WIP are now associated with BRCM_Testing project.

    Note: This is one time setup process.

    As result ProjectWise Project GUID is added to PCF file.

  4. To dissociate Bentley Raceway and Cable Management project from ProjectWise Project, delete GUID in pcf file.
